A Big Day for the Rise Liberia Academy
6/16/2022
We’ve been looking forward to this day for some time. The school building is completed, soon to be painted and fitted ready for the day electricity will arrive. Now, as well as a strong academic curriculum, the school is initiating job-skill training. Rise Liberia Coordinator & Principal Barwea Toteh (bottom right) introduced a visiting expert (bottom left) who, for the next two months will instruct the older students in the art of soap-making. The end product will not only educate the students, but also support the school financially. The goal is to free our mission projects from the constant dependence on outside support; a goal which is being achieved, by God’s grace and your generosity.
PLEASE SUPPORT THESE CHILDREN WHO LIVE IN THE POOREST CAPITAL CITY IN THE WORLD.
In a nation where actual ‘jobs’ are rare they are discovering ways of creating businesses that will transform their lives, their families, their nation.
