A FEBRUARY VISIT

Kellie Girling is the principal of The King’s School here in Upstate NY. Sarah Olson is a librarian/teacher in Lake George, NY. Both have Masters degrees and years of creative experience which they love to share with the students and faculty of our two schools in Liberia, The Washington Tarpeh Academy, the school we built in the capital city of Monrovia, and now in the Frank Town Academy 30 miles outside the city. Teachers and pastors from around the region travel to sit in on their teacher training seminars and excitement is building on both campuses as they plan for our team’s visit in February.

PLEASE PRAY for Sarah and Kellie as they join me (Pastor Bill Davidon) for our February visit to Liberia. As well as teacher-training from the ladies I will be ordaining over 20 pastors in the Kakata region as well as installing the new pastor who is following on after the late and beloved Washington Tarpeh.

A GIFT FROM HOPE FOR KENYA

Hope for Kenya & Village of Hope are two well established ministries which were born out of Church of The Nations, our original church-plant here in Upstate NY. They recently opened up their store-house to bless Rise Liberia with the gift of dozens of sports shirts which can be used for everyday wear. What a blessing! Our students in Frank Town now look resplendent in their new kit!

SPONSORED THROUGH HIGH SCHOOL

OUR COMMITMENT TO THE STUDENTS OF THE WASHINGTON TARPEH ACADEMY

RISE LIBERIA sponsors have changed the lives of young Liberians. We cannot over - emphasize what this means to these young students. The opportunity to be lifted out of jobless, hopeless poverty to the privilege of an education is like moving from one planet to another! At the same time as launching our second school in Frank Town, our commitment is to see every one of our 50 sponsored students in the Tarpeh Academy through High School which can only happen because of your generosity.
